Via VIP-Wall-Post (recommanded)

 

only availalble when social wall is configured in your app.

 

Create a VIP-post on the social wall that effects a push message to all devices the app is installed on.

When opening the push message on the lock-screen the corresponding wall post on the social wall is opened.

Maximum number:

there is no maximum number. Please be aware that sending to many push messages may causes users to cancel their push subscription of the app.

Step-by-Step Guide:

 

Via mobile App:

  • login in app with account that has VIP role assigned
  • go to Social Wall tab
  • push create button on top
  • create wall post
  • create realtions to app content optionally
  • press done

The push message should appear within 1-3 minutes on your devicea and link to the wall post

 

via WebApp/CMS:

 

Note:

  • please make sure you user account has the "VIP" role assigned
  • please make sure your testing device is subscribed to push messages for the app
  • push messages can NOT be localized
  • if possible test with a none-time-critical message before the event starts to test push messages set-up

 

Via CMS

Send push messages with CMS creates a single push message and no social wall post.

How to implement:

  • Login as admin in the web app (URL of web app can be found in the Manage Meta-Data with App Manager)
  • Open admin menu on the top right (if not visible contact your project manager for admin rights)
  • Select "psuh messages"
  • Select "create"
  • Enter text
  • Define send time (messages scheduled in the past will be sent immediately after saving)

Note:

  • please make sure your testing device is subscribed to push messages for the app
  • push messages can NOT be localized
  • if possible test with a none-time-critical message before the event starts to test push messages set-up
